Atelier Dast creates and sells high-end saddlery-leathergoods, handmade near Paris by a craftsman with French leathers.

The following provisions constitute a contract establishing the conditions of online sale of leather goods presented on the atelierdast.com site of the company ATELIER DAST whose head office is located at 122 rue Amelot, 75011 Paris, France.

The individual customer and/or company acknowledges having, prior to the transmission of his order, having read all the information constituting the General Conditions of Sale below and accepts them all in good faith without any restriction.

Price and method of payment

  • Can I pay with another currency than Euros?

    All our prices are indicated in Euros.

    Customers will be able to pay in Euros from a bank account in the European Union, from an account in another currency or directly with their PayPal account. The conversion rate into Euros will be automatically set by their bank at the time of purchase.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    Our merchant site only accepts payments via the PayPal platform.

    PayPal allows you to pay for your order directly online using MasterCard or VISA bank cards thanks to their secure platform, by entering the 16 numbers of your card, as well as its 4 digit expiration date. For information on security visit the PayPal site.

    WARNING : It is not necessary to register a Paypal account in order to use the Paypal payment system, only to have a bank card and disregard the prompt to register.

DELIVERY AND DEADLINES

  • When will I receive my parcel?

    Once your payment has been approved by Paypal, we will send you an email with an order number and the delivery date. Once your order is accepted, shipping will be immediate. Allow between 2 to 4 working days to receive your order via UPS.

  • Do you know how much customs fees I would have to pay?

    For orders shipped from France to countries other than countries in the European Union, customs fees or taxes may apply, depending on your country's legislation. Check with the local authorities to avoid any unpleasant surprises!


    PLEASE NOTE : We can not refund orders shipped back because you refuse to pay import taxes in your country. It is therefore your responsibility to inquire with your local authorities what kind of tax will apply that you will necessarily need to pay them, before you place your order in our shop. We will not be able to re-ship or refund an item returned to us for this reason.

  • Is there insurance for loss or damage of my package?

    1% insurance of the total value is included in the shipping costs to cover the complete refund of your order in the event of the loss or damage of your item.


RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND/OR REFUNDS

  • What are the return conditions for my purchase?

    In compliance with French consumer laws regulating online sales (articles L121-16 and following of the Consumer Code in France), the customer has a right to cancel his order for whatever reason and will only be responsible for paying the return shipping expense. French legislation grants online customers 14 days to withdraw from his/her purchase, starting on the date of delivery. If this period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or other non-working day, it is extended to the next working day. Beyond these deadlines, Atelier Dast has the right to refuse the return or refund.     Returns or exchanges of items will only be accepted if the items ordered are returned in perfect condition, unused or damaged. If your item has been made to measure, we will not be able to proceed with any exchange or refund.

    The shipping cost to return an item purchased from our online shop is your responsibility. We therefore recommend that you choose a reputed carrier who can guarantee a total refund of the item's full value in the event of its damage or loss, and to choose a delivery method that should be signed for. Atelier Dast cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damage during transport and cannot refund in whole or in part an item that was returned damaged or used by the buyer or the carrier in charge of its shipment.

    The charges involved in shipping back an item with a request to have one or more alterations made, will be covered by the customer who made the purchase.

  • How long does it take to be refunded?

    Refunds are processed within two weeks exclusively in Euros. Atelier Dast is not responsible for exchange rates at the time of reimbursement, whether the rate is in your favor or not.


CUSTOMER DATA SECURITY

  • What do you with the customer's contact information?

    As part of the new European directive on personal data and cyber security, Atelier Dast will never sell or share your information with any third party. We have also made arrangements with our subcontractors and service providers to ensure that your data remains strictly confidential. Our database only contains the information necessary for the purchase and delivery of the item(s) ordered in our web store and/or to receive our newsletter for which you have registered your email address.

  • How can I get my information deleted from your records?

    Pursuant to article 34 of the French law dated January 6, 1978, you have the right to access and rectify personal and private information.
